I saw a stranger with a familar face,
Wondering where i'd seen her before,
The tears started to roll down my cheeks.
It's a face of a friend formerly forgotten.
Now i remember, i can see her standing
Where no one dared to breath.
She was the one giving hope to the fallen,
Giving them strength to break down enormous barriers.
Where is she now ? i wish i could tell you.
What could i have done to keep you
from doing what is unable to be undone.
Could i have help by saying what i felt,
instead of practically handing you the gun.
Would one more comforting consolation kept you
Kept you from playing on the edge of cliffs to tall
But i'll still love you... even if you fall.
Where did you so silently slip off to?
Where, cause i can't find you?
